I apologize if this has been dealt with elsewhere. I have been using CarPlay without issue, primarily for connecting my iTunes music. Recently, it quit appearing completely. It says my iPhone is paired but I can't get CarPlay to appear again. So my music is playing by Bluetooth from the phone now. Any suggestions of what to do? Might a soft reboot be the answer?

I've had this happen occasionally. IIRC there's an "open" button on the phone section of the upper screen (or something like that), hit that and all of a sudden you get carplay working (I'm assuming you've had carplay working at some point as if carplay has never worked then you may have to setup carplay on you iPhone)

Do you need to be connected to Bluetooth or the Lucid wifi to use it? When my phone connects to the vehicle wifi, it won't reliably lock nor the app function as it should.

I think either Bluetooth or hard wired should do the trick (USBc connection)

Best to reset your phone, remove the bluetooth to the car and re-pair it. There are some hidden settings in iphone around Carplay autostarting and sharing to check as well.
