Opening entire key fob (not just battery)

I’m trying to connect the fob to an AirTag (cough cough… no more loss!!), but my string broke. Is there a way to get the whole thing apart so I can add a thin key ring, without breaking the fob?

They also make a variety of lanyard that will hold your AirTag without a ring that you can attach directly the the key. Not sure if any of these are better. It depends upon your preference

Worth a shot but I don’t know if any of those will fit through the tiny opening in our key fobs. Also, for those wondering how to possibly get the string through, those dental floss threaders work really well.

I saw the one with the wire (1st one) but I’m not sure it will fit through that itty bitty thing. I wish cuz that’s the one I would prefer.
