2025 Lucid Air Touring
It's difficult to believe how bad the radio app in my Lucid Air Touring is. I make my living doing voice-overs and listen to the radio constantly on long drives. Every other day I get a note that says, "Something Went Wrong--Try another Channel." It takes two selections--Collections, then Favorites to get my list, and none respond promptly to a single touch. Ditto for MSNBC, CNN, Bluegrass, Jazz on Sirius--multiple touches and pokes at 75 miles an hour is an accident waiting to happen. Every time I shut off the car, I have to start all over again, so on an errand day, with multiple stops, I'm stabbing the 'effing' screen continually, when it is working at all. It's very frustrating to have a vehicle this expensive, this impeccable, and have such difficulty getting podcasts, or setting the radio station. I've just read 10 pages of complaints onlinek, and not a single response from the manufacturer. What gives? Is there a remedy? Is it time to start sending hate mail?

My favorite trick is to use the Pause/Play button at your right thumb on the steering wheel, right away upon getting into the car.
For me this always resumes whatever I was last listening to last time I drove.
I do still have to tap the menus when changing what I want to hear.
It's #2 in this image from the manual -- press it in to pause/play.
