New Air Touring

Hi everyone. I picked up my Lucid Air Touring about three weeks ago and have already put about 1000 miles on it, which is a lot for me. I got a Zenith Red with the stealth package, 19" wheels for all my daily pothole fun, and Tahoe interior among other options. So far I'm really enjoying the way it drives and handles, even with the all season tires. It's my first EV so its been a bit of an adjustment but driving my wife's ICE car after a few weeks of the Air felt pretty weird.

The soft close doors are being a bit crabby and the software definitely has its days, but overall they don't really bother me that much. I should probably schedule a service for the doors. We are already looking into a long road trip this summer from Houston to LA, we will see. I am thinking about tinting the windows as it definitely heats up fast in Houston even with the aluminum roof, I'm glad I didn't go for the glass roof.

My wife is already making noises about the Gravity now...

Enjoy! And I agree it's worth scheduling someone to look at those soft closers.

After you've been driving EV-only for a while, and especially with the Air, it's hard to imagine going back to an ICE car.
