So, I thought I'd post my experience with getting a new 2025 Touring.
I placed the order on Saturday, October 12th. The website said "AVAILABLE IN 2 WEEKS".
I heard from the sales manager the following Monday who told me that it had just rolled off the production line and had to go through some quality checks.
I got a call on October 25th telling me that the car would be delivered to the service center on October 28th. They needed a couple of days to inspect it themselves and we scheduled my pick up on October 30th.
The car is absolutely gorgeous, and powerful!
The biggest problem I have is the "Hey Lucid" system will not allow me to phone or text any of my contacts. It keeps saying that it doesn't have the phone number. I haven't been able to research it yet to see if there's an easy solutions. It's causing me a lot of grief to not have this ability, but in the overall scheme of things, it's minor.
This is my first EV, and first car at this premium level. Lots for me to get used to.
After picking the car up I had to return home through Atlanta rush hour traffic and I was paranoid as hell that some yutz was going to hit me!
