Lucid Air Touring
So, I thought I'd post my experience with getting a new 2025 Touring.

I placed the order on Saturday, October 12th. The website said "AVAILABLE IN 2 WEEKS".

I heard from the sales manager the following Monday who told me that it had just rolled off the production line and had to go through some quality checks.

I got a call on October 25th telling me that the car would be delivered to the service center on October 28th. They needed a couple of days to inspect it themselves and we scheduled my pick up on October 30th.

The car is absolutely gorgeous, and powerful!

The biggest problem I have is the "Hey Lucid" system will not allow me to phone or text any of my contacts. It keeps saying that it doesn't have the phone number. I haven't been able to research it yet to see if there's an easy solutions. It's causing me a lot of grief to not have this ability, but in the overall scheme of things, it's minor.

This is my first EV, and first car at this premium level. Lots for me to get used to.

After picking the car up I had to return home through Atlanta rush hour traffic and I was paranoid as hell that some yutz was going to hit me!

I don't have any good pictures yet, but here's the car in the showroom. To be honest, I was so overwhelmed by the entire experience, I'm still trying to come down off of a cloud.

you are doing the Lucid experience correctly

the first few months of Lucid ownership I used to go out to the garage and just gaze at it. eventually I got a director's chair, since I was doing this so often. Then Bunny Lubowski clued me about Atmos, and now I enjoy the Lucid experience IN THE BACK SEAT...whilst sitting in the garage ... the the wee hours when it's nice and quiet.

And I wanted to add that even though the wait was excruciating, the reward is well worth it.

Congrats on the new Lucid! You'll find a lot of great information on this forum. Regarding Hey Lucid--if you're using CarPlay, just ask Siri to make the call instead.

Yeah, with Hey Lucid being so new it really stinks at making calls at this point. I just use Hey Google to dial
