I think there are only four differences between the Dream Edition and the Grand Touring:
- power output
- forged 21" wheels
- Santa Monica interior
- Eureka Gold exterior
In fact, at some point the Grand Touring will acquire power-operated doors which the Dream will not have (unless Lucid put the motors in for later activation).
Remember that the Grand Touring -- not the Dream -- is really the trim level designed to stand at the top of Lucid's luxury line-up. Being more expensive that a fully-tricked out Mercedes EQS, Lucid won't be stinting on luxury features in the Grand Touring.
According to Zak Edson, Lucid's head of Retail Operations, the Dream Edition was really meant as an engineering exercise to see how far the limits of EV powertrains could be pushed when cost concerns were dialed back a bit. As the "Motor Trend" article states, despite significant differences on paper, there won't be much of a "butt dyno" difference in the two cars in realistic driving conditions.
