- Lucid Air Pure 2026
A little more than a month ago, I took an Air Touring (loaner) from San Jose to LA and back — down 101 and came home on the coast highway. Average for the entire 800 mile trip was 4.01 m/kwh. Adaptive cruise control most of the way heading south and one pedal driving on the way north. Regen was on high the whole time. Probably touched the brakes no more than five or 10 times on the whole trip. HVAC was on for the entire trip but used conservatively because the outside temperatures were mild. While in LA, all of our destinations were within walking distance of the hotel so there was no city driving other than getting to and from the hotel. Left San Jose with 100% SOC. Recharged to 85% at a 50 kW charger in Lompoc while having lunch with friends, topped it up to 85% at the hotel while we were there, and then topped it up to 95% at an Electrify America in Morro Bay on the way back. Made it back to San Jose with about 30% SOC. No issues whatsoever. Fun to drive on the coast highway.
