I recently traveled on a trip from Baltimore to Northern Virginia in my Lucid Air. I have made this trip in my Tesla, so i have an idea of what to expect.
I started the trip like always by charging to 99% overnight. If anyone is familiar with DC traffic, i drove in morning rush hour, and i do not suggest this ever. That said, i always do this trip in morning and evening rush hour.
It's summer and it was 80-90F with high humidity. Those are not the best conditions, but they are much better than winter in an EV.
The drive was pleasant despite the traffic. I didn't use dream drive, so just manual driving. What was really pleasant was the efficiency. I have an AWD with 20" wheels on the original summer tires. On the way there, i was able to get 4.75 miles per kilowatt (210 watt hours per mile). I have never seen anything close to this with my Teslas. When i say never, i mean not even close when i tried very hard to barely press the accelerator. I'm the Lucid, i just drive normally without paying attention to efficiency. This was so surprising.
I drove around for a week and drove around co-workers. I also showed them how fast the car is, and everyone appreciated the rear seats. Then, without charging at all, i drove back home. Normally, with the Tesla, i needed to charge before going home, so i was pleasantly surprised when i had plenty of charge left.
On a side note, i saw another Lucid Air at the Marriott but couldn't say hi. It was nice to see given what just happened in the stock market.
I am a bit disappointed at the cooled seats that didn't seem to work. There was one time that the trunk seemed to have issues opening, but i think my coworker pulled it up by hand because i wasn't able to make it happen up to that point or since.
I'm seriously impressed with the efficiency. I didn't have any issues like bugs or things breaking. Generally, my car has been pretty much bug free, though, so not really surprised there. It was enjoyable to drive and much more efficient than any Tesla.
