Lease - can I use a guarantor?

Hi, I searched this forum and didn't find a previous thread about this.

I'm interested in Leasing an Air for 18 months. The kicker is I'm a Canadian that moved to the States < 4 years ago with <4 lines of credit, so ordinarily it would seem that BoA would reject my lease application.

I do have direct family members who've been in the US for over a decade - does anyone know if I can use any of them as a guarantor for the lease? Does it throw a wrench in Lucid's workflows?

I did call and they either contradict themselves or say they'll find out and follow up and never do. I'd much rather find out myself and, if it's an option, inform them about it.
