An Ionna Rechargery just opened mere miles from my house. Super excited to try it out, but conflicted because it's so close to home that I don't need it. They are running a grand opening special...20¢ per kilowatt until the end of the month. Killer deal but I only pay 11¢ at home.

I felt the same way when I bought a Tesla. They have 2 supercharger sites within 1 mile radius from my home. But its too close to be useful to me.
:)

I'd go and try it to confirm that there is proper operation / handshaking with your car. I'm sure it will work, but good to test it out in case you need it in the future. There will be an Ionna opening near me as well (TBD when it will) and I plan on doing the same with both of my vehicles.

Jeez, you are lucky. In Southern California my cheapest rate is 26 cents and the highest is 59 cents. The former is still better than the regular Ionna rate of 39 cents though.

Agreed, it is kind of a nothingburger when you get one close by. Unless it's one of their fancy ones with amenities? Not sure how many of those they've rolled out aside from their Apex, NC spot. I usually catch a charge when they do those 20 cent specials though. That beats my home rate by a few cents, and I like giving Ionna my business.

Out of curiosity, what's your generation charge vs. delivery charge? (if you care to share)
