Tongue weight limit 600 lbs
Accessory weight limit 119 lbs

I really don’t understand the 119 lbs accessory weight limit. How can the tongue weight be 600 lbs yet can’t even support carrying 4 bikes?

Tongue weight is the weight of a towed payload when measured at the hitch. An accessory like a bike rack will extend further out and carries the weight vertically instead of horizontally to the rear like a trailer, different limits for different types of loads.

I've seen somewhere an X-ray drawing of the hitch attachment. It's a wide steel piece that bolts onto the rear frame members and lives inside the bumper cover.

The chain attachment points and the receiver attachment point would both be welded to that piece.

So installation of one afterwards would require disassembly of the rear bumper.

that tracks, a friend of mine installed a tow hitch package to his Tesla Model 3 after the fact. I don't think it was Oris based like the Lucid, but yes, it did require removing the whole bumper to do it and took him all day to do by himself. he would not do it again.
