2025 date code on it and believe I've put it back where it came from once before but can't recall where. Anybody else have this happen and remember where it goes? I checked front and rear bumper spots for the frunk and hatch so either nothing obvious or missed finding one side missing.

Ran your photos through ChatGPT and asked it to ID the part. Apparently there was another owner asking the same question over at Lucid Community on Reddit. The attachments are what ChatGPT came up with. Hope you find where it’s supposed to go.

Nope, yet another confidently wrong AI answer. The trunk stops don't look like that and the image it included is from a thread here about a damaged rear window. https://lucidowners.com/threads/gravity-rear-window-damaged.15478/

I really wish people would stop blindly posting this kind of slop response without even verifying it.

It appears to be a bumper stop for the frunk lid. Open the frunk and look upward.

I’ve had the same piece fall off several times while washing my vehicle. Mine came off the left side of the frunk. Open it and look directly underneath.

Stupid question, but are you washing the vehicle with the frunk open? Or is the stop coming out when washing the car with the frunk closed? I guess it never occurred to me that one would wash the car with the frunk open, but I guess that's actually totally fine to do with the Gravity?

No, I don’t wash the car with the frunk open. Some water gets into the sides of the frunk during the wash, and when I open it afterward, there are usually a few drops around the edges. I open it to wipe everything down so no water or soap residue is left behind.

This is from the frunk it is easy to dislodge when cleaning/ drying the frunk area. Make sure you position it correctly when putting it back. I have found it interferes with opening and closing otherwise
