Hi,
Newbie and doing lots of research!
Coming out of a 2016 BMW 750I xdrive and wanting to purchase a Lucid. Looking at the used market. As I sift through all the listing, none of them say if it's a Performance model or what HP the car has.
Is there a database where I can input the VIN and get all the information I'm looking for?
Dealerships will tell you anything to get you in the door.
Thanks,
Dave

7 digit of VIN (for the early cars, should carry forward)
From highest hp to lowest
T=930kw (1247hp)
A=828kw (1110hp)
D=783kw (1050hp)
C=695kw (932hp)
B=597kw (800hp)
E=462kw (619hp)
F=358kw (480hp)
G=330hp (443hp)

Interesting, where did you get these numbers?

That's super awesome!! Thanks!!

Note: 2023 Air Pure AWD will have the E designation but only has 480hp. Possibly due to having same motors as the touring but detuned.

Interesting. My 2023 Air Pure AWD has the F designation. Built 11/23. Might be good news for you, if you want the power.

Interesting indeed. Mine has an E. Built 02/23.
We should line up our cars and launch. We'll know what's up if I'm eating your dust!!

As for the 2023 Pure AWDs in general... I keep wondering when, if ever, a power upgrade to 462 kW / 619 HP will be offered.
I imagine that similar upgrades would be possible across the entire lineup. God knows that Sapphire dog needs a few more horsepower!!!

Power upgrades via software would definitely be cool to have, though that might upset customers who forked over more money for the higher trims, so I doubt it. But one can always hope.

My "B" GT was sold with 819 hp, not 800. Could there be a metric/imperial factor missing?

May I know how do we find the built month of the vehicle? Mine is 23 Pure AWD and has E designation(starts with 50E...), also my VIN doesn't match with the sample format shared here https://carfast.express/en/vin_decoder/lucid/air . Am I missing something ?

I believe it's the 7th character of your VIN is what's described in the table above. The manufacture date can be found on the black tag when you open the driver's door.

If you plug your VIN in the box it should lookup for you (might need to register) and there is a build date in the data it pulls.

As @timpossible said, the easy place to see your build date is on the VIN placard inside the driver's door. I believe that only the model year code is embedded in the VIN. BTW, there is no need to pay for a VIN decoder. There are free ones.

Dual motor Pure build is E 619 hp just like the touring. Pure with one motor is F or 480 hp.

I think that the Pure AWD to Touring should be the easiest upgrade of all. And I’d pay for it.
