I have lane departure protection warning on*. It has always been overly sensitive for me, buzzing when I firmly believe I'm in no way near the lane marker. I still doubted myself though. Thanks to Highway Assist, I now am confident it definitely isn't me, since the thing still buzzes when Lucid is doing the driving 😊.

I wonder if the ye engineers should monitor and flag any such event and collect data for improvement. Clearly there is a problem in one of them if they are fighting each other.

* (yeah, we know, real macho drivers don't use these aids like lane departure protection. Please leave this thread for the rest of us less capable bunch!)

How do you know they’re not? The car sends gigs of data back to Lucid and I bet a chunk of that is DreamDrive data.

I don't. That's what the wondering is about and all. I was also wondering if this is a common problem, because if it isn't then data collection is likely not worth it.

I can repeat with 100% accuracy when I have HA on while on 101 in Marin Ca around the rainbow tunnel… and the car is creeping into other lanes to point I need to override. (Even when a car is in the other lane, it still crosses into the other lanes!). This is still after I had ALL cameras calibrated last week. Granted DD is day and night better since the calibration… but there’s some software issues for sure going on. I love hearing the lane departure warning when HA is active. I’m sure it’ll get worked out…. For starters, lucid may want to abandon LTE for its driving data source. Maybe related.. but HA starts going rogue as soon as cell reception is nil. Good cell reception, and it’s smooth as silk. Just an observation since I’m clearly obsessed with my car. (Best car I’ve ever driven otherwise!)

It's possible your vehicle may need a re-calibration. I would suggest you contact your nearest service center and mention the same issues & experience to them.

I agree with the recalibration but you might find that that's just the way it is. I wonder what would happen if lane departure tries to yank the car back from HA ??!! 🤣🤣🤣
