Hands-free DA stops working when crossing between countries

Wonder if anyone has had this problem like me. When crossing the border from the US to Canada and back again, I’ve noticed that HFDA stops presenting as an option and I’m stuck on drive assist with no auto lane change the rest of the drive. It’s happened on two separate trips now. I’m not sure if it is when I switch the display units to KM at the border, or related to the pre-mapped country road data only loading on car reboot?

On the way back from Canada after the car has slept, HFDA seems to work temporarily again until I cross the US border.

Not surprised because it's geofenced.

My hands-free and highway assist do switch back and forth depending on the location.

At a same location, it consistently displays a warning "hands-free will be disabled soon" then switches to highway assist.

The system is still very young. You might need to wait a while for it to get better.
