Another successful road trip with mixed results from EA.
The good
I had three good EA charging sessions where the first charger worked and I saw briefly 282 and 274kW.
Starting from 33% adding 57.4kWh at an average of 150kW. 23 minutes
Starting from 39% adding 32.8 kWh at an average of 179kW 11 minutes
Starting from 29% adding 56 kWh at an average of 130kW 26 minutes
The bad
1st charger 350kW would not recognize car
2nd charger 350kW maxed at 48kW
3rd charger 150kW maxed at 42kW
4th charger 150kW maxed at 94kW
total time charging about 24 minutes for 26.5kWh. Average of 66.25kW. Total time at station about 40 minutes. I wasn't in any rush and no one else was charging so I took the time to try all 4 chargers.
Back home in Greenville I was driving by the Greenville, SC EA so I pulled in to give it a try and plugged into a 350kW that maxed at 24kW.
Summary
Total trip about 1000 miles. 1h24min charging. Left the house at 100% and was able to overnight charge 2 nights at hotel adding about 70kWh.
I rolled into the garage at about 12%. On the road I like to stop when I have 30% or more, just in case a station is completely down.
The lifetime average mileage on the car went from 2.9 to 3.0 miles kWh on this trip. Now at over 21,000 miles.
