Gravity parking sensors, apparently the wheel direction matters.

Parking sensors: i'm not sure if the following is a feature or a bug?

Has anyone noticed that the parking sensors are dependent on the direction of the steering wheel? I have a snowboarding bag which sits to the right of the car in my garage. I've been paying attenion to the fact that this bag is never being shown as an obstacle, going in or out, even though it's rather close to the path the car can take. So I messed around a bit and discovered that the Gravity's parking sensor bubble only seems to know it's an obstacle (or at least show it to the human behind the wheel) if you turn into it. Pics below. The reason I think this is a problem is one isn't warned of the possibility of scraping something on the side of the car, simply because you aren't going at it head or tail on. There is a dottled line shown by the parking display, so the car knows the arc it's going to take, why it doesn't show there is an object within that arc, regardless of which direction the steering wheel is turned I can't fathom.

For now I'll rely more on the cameras.

I'm used to our Rover, which has a continuous live 360-degree visual sensor bubble around the car while parking forward or reverse (or when brought up manually). This picks up the snowboarding bag with ease and shows it as an obstacle. To be fair, I'm sure JLR implemented this for off-road use, or for avoiding kids at the mall. hard to know which. :)

And I imaging things, or has Lucid showed a 360 degree visual bubble like what my Rover has? Could have sworn I saw that somewhere.

and no comments on our garage, cleanliness or lack there of please. Spring is a ways off. ;)

Oh and these pictures were taken with the car in reverse. So, it's showing the opposite of what one would want to know.
