The Luce is not for me either
I have a new Amalfi coming next month
They still build cars with ICEs and the EV will help that to continue
I can't even imagine how much their brand is being talked up this week
And that should lead to inquiries/orders/purchases of the new ICE/Hybrids in the current range and add upward pricing pressure to past models

I don’t know, I might just prefer a lucid air Sapphire over any Ferrari. Most people who buy Ferraris don’t put miles on it because they depreciate…then what’s the point? That’s the way I look at it. But each their own.

The Luce is actually very practical compared to even the Purosangue.

I think the truth is closer to these people are busy and don't have that much free time to drive them, and that driving them is a point A to point A thing, take it our for a drive and turn around and put back in the garage.
I expect mine to be a toy to take out on a nice day, maybe an occasional road trip.

Ferrari has realized EV’s have brought supercar performance to the “masses”. Till now, you would buy a Ferrari for performance. I used to salivate at a 0-60 of 4 seconds when I was a teenager. Now, anyone can get that in a 50k EV. Takes away the performance element . Leaves emotion, looks and heritage. Leave out the handling at those extremes, no one drives like that on public roads.

Ferrari had to compete in the EV space, they know EV sales will continue to rise. Chinese Ferrari sales were dropping. The newer generation have never seen a Countach or F40 and don’t care about heritage. Unfortunately they don’t have the technical knowledge to build a good looking supercar EV. If the lowered the Luce and added splitters and spoilers, the range would have dropped below 300 miles in the WLTP cycle.

Ferrari has just shown what a magnificent machine the Lucid Air Sapphire is. Beats it in looks, performance, space, efficiency, range. Ferrari in big trouble in the futureI don't think

That is probably the best interviews and behind the curtain I have watched about it...They do have to break new ground somehow. But the question to ask is in 20 years what standout feature will have trickled down to regular cars and become a standard thing (like ABS, Tablet Screens, frunks for EVs), ie things that the Model S did and S-Class did...
