I know we just got the feedback email address ([email protected]), but without a public tracker, I feel like that inbox is going to get buried fast. It would be awesome if we had a way to submit requests individually and upvote them on a leaderboard here.

I’m only a week into ownership, and while 3.3.20 seems to have fixed the some of the "big" stuff, there are still plenty of kinks to work out. Instead of just repeating the well documented bugs, I’ve put together a list of realistic feature requests for Gravity.

1. Navigation & Trip Intelligence​

• [P0] Enhanced Waypoint Data: Integrate full business intelligence into the map (hours of operation, "closing soon" alerts, phone numbers, and reviews).
• [P0] Strategic Range Visualization: Display estimated State of Charge (SoC) for both arrival and the return tripto eliminate daily planning anxiety.
• [P1] App-to-Vehicle Sync: Enable multi-waypoint route building in the Lucid mobile app with "Push to Vehicle" functionality. Include a live range-map overlay in the app for pre-trip visualization.
• [P1] Custom Routing Logic:
  • HOV Presence Sensing: Use interior seat sensors to automatically suggest HOV routing when passengers are detected.
  • Reroute Thresholds: User-definable delta (e.g., "Only suggest faster route if >5 mins saved").
  • Priority Modes: Add options for "Highway Prioritization" (maximize DreamDrive usage) and "Experience-Based Routing" (prioritize traffic fluidity/scenic views over raw distance).
• [P1] Environmental Overlays: Add a real-time Weather Radar and clear AQI data for current location and destination.
• [P2] UI Resource Optimization: Offer a minimalistic 2D road-focused map theme to improve nav stability. Trigger 3D structures contextually only upon arrival to assist with "last-mile" identification.

2. Communication & Voice (Driver Experience)​

• [P0] Connectivity Architecture: Resolve poor signal reliability via a multi-carrier roaming approach. Current TCU/Antenna performance is inconsistent even in high-signal areas.
• [P0] Message Readability: Enable a toggle to read short text messages on the display. Narrated-only is not as helpful of a handsfree solution.
• [P0] Streamlined Interaction: When a message is viewed, allow a one-tap voice reply without re-stating the recipient. Display transcribed text for visual confirmation before sending.
• [P1] Contextual Voice Assistant:
  • Cabin Controls: Expand voice to hardware (e.g., "Raise rear shades," "Lower headrests," "Set wipers").
  • AI Integration: Use AI for waypoint searches, traffic awareness (sporting events/closures), and proper address dictation (e.g., "11143" should render as a number, not "one-one-one-four-three").
• [P1] Audio & Calling UX: * Interruption Control: Option for "Chime Only" or "Visual Flash" for nav directions to prevent music interruptions.
  • Contact Defaults: Set a default number (Mobile) for contacts with multiple phone entries.

3. ADAS & Driving Dynamics (DreamDrive)​

• [P0] Navigation-Linked ADAS: Couple blinker and lane-assist logic with active navigation. Suppress lane-departure warnings (LDW) when a maneuver is anticipated by the route or for common road-edge scenarios.
• [P1] Contextual LDW: Sensitivity should trigger on "last lane" boundaries only. Middle-lane warnings should activate only when a collision risk is present to avoid alert fatigue from lane-centering on wide or unique on-ramps.
• [P1] Precision Haptics: Add steering wheel/seat haptic pulses for "Traffic is Clearing" or "Green Light" alerts.
• [P1] Dynamics Calibration: * Brake "firming" when collision avoidance is primed.
  • Accelerator dampening in parking lots.
  • Regen reduction on icy roads and smoother regen-to-friction transitions.

4. Hardware & Utility Integration​

• [P0] Intelligent Suspension: Automate ride-height lift based on GPS (e.g., home driveways or low-clearance garages). Trigger "Curbside Mode" (lift) upon arrival to avoid door-to-curb strikes.
• [P1] Smart Turn Signals: Single-tap should persist through the duration of a navigation-planned turn.
• [P1] Ergonomics: Extend the blinker stalk by 1 inch to align with the natural hand position on the squircle trackpads.
• [P1] App-Based Summon: Enable remote vehicle movement via the app for ingress/egress in tight parking stalls.
• [P2] Cargo Access: * UWB "Hands-free" Trunk/Frunk opening.
  • Add Trunk/Frunk release icons to the main door-lock cluster on the Pilot Panel.
  • Location-based trunk height memory.
• [P0] Hands-Free Cargo Access: Proximity-based, hands-free opening for both the Trunk and Frunk. Wide band access by standing in front of the door for a second or two.
• [P1] Smart Fan Logic: Automatically lower HVAC fan speeds during active calls.
• [P1] Cabin Guard & Scheduling: Set "Max Temp" thresholds for interior protection. Enable 24-hour departure scheduling for pre-conditioning.
• [P2] Two-Stage Easy Entry: Middle row with child seats; Slide passenger seat forward for rear car-seat access; reset upon door closure/brake press.

5. Charging & Energy Management​

• [P0] Session Visibility: Display the minimum time required to charge to reach the current destination.
• [P0] Consistent One-Pedal: Implement friction-brake "Regen-Simulation" when the battery is at 100% SoC to maintain a consistent driving feel.
• [P1] Charging Logic: Add a "One-Time 100% Limit" toggle that reverts to 80% for the next session.
• [P1] Solar/Grid Sync: Integrate with "NetZero" or similar APIs for dynamic solar charging management.
• [P1] Energy Slope UI: Correct the consumption chart—use Yellow for losses (falling below forecast) and Green only for efficiency gains.

6. System, UX & Security​

• [P0] System Stability: Enable an infotainment reset while in motion.
• [P0] Profile & Startup: Improve load times; enable PIN-less profile switching; fix the "Sign in to Lucid app" share-to-car bug.
• [P1] Media Parity: Native Apple Music (account-linked); offline Tidal downloads; universal voice search across media sources.
• [P1] Screen Casting: Provide a high-fidelity mirroring solution (AirPlay/Chromecast protocol) as a "catch-all" for streaming services.
• [P1] Smart Climate Pre-conditioning: Schedule climate settings via app for a specific departure time (within 24hrs).
• [P1] Persistent Lighting Mode: A "Headlights On" toggle that allows the external lights to remain active after the vehicle is locked.
• [P1] Accessory Power: User toggle to keep USB-C/Tech outlets powered while the vehicle is locked.
• [P1] Family & Security:
  • Rear-Facing Baby Monitor: Integrate an add-on cabin camera feed streaming into the dash display.
  • Remote Guard: Include the cabin camera in "Live View" via the app.
  • Location Security: GPS-linked security profiles (e.g., "Home" vs "Public").
• [P1] Visibility & Aesthetics:
  • Fix UI rendering/splicing artifacts.
  • Maintain dash Ambient Lighting during driving (don't deactivate).
• [P2] Productivity: Native Google Calendar sync and a built-in Web Browser (Parked use).
• [P1] Software Transparency: Publish a public-facing OTA Roadmap. Offer opt-in tiers (Beta/Release Candidate) for early adopters to provide telemetry.

The only 'new' requests I've submitted were for:

1. An "Avoid Tolls" toggle in the Nav, which should be a fairly easy add, I know the Here API supports it.

2. A light mode for the entire UI. I know it's probably low priority for most people, but there are valid medical reasons why it's important. My wife has artificial lenses (IOLs) and has difficulty with reading text/graphics that are white/lit on a dark background. She ended up having to get a Genesis GV60 because it was one of the very few vehicles that has a light mode UI. I'd love to be able to replace it with a Gravity when her lease is up, but if there's no light mode then that'll be a non-starter.


Other than that, I agree. I'd prefer Lucid focus on making sure all the current functionality is bullet proof before spending too much effort adding new features and functionality.

Having spent a bit of time in sw development I found it helpful to have access to a request board. you could see others requests (to prevent duplication) and see what bugs may exist (again to prevent duplication).

This is becoming rarer and rarer. Sometime over the last few years “various improvements and enhancements” became the industry-standard replacement for actually saying what a patch does. I suspect managers collectively discovered a beneficial placebo effect by not telling end users whether their pet bugs were fixed or not.

Regardless of the reason, it’s a cancer.
