I read about Joby's new charging interface for electric air taxis, and thought: why reinvent the wheel. But on further exploration, it's really pretty cool. Up to 600kW (two channels of 300kW each) and designed to minimize weight and bulk in the aircraft it services.

Joby signs agreement to install first electric air taxi charger at California airport

Joby has been developing electric air taxis for commercial passenger service and signed a definitive agreement with Clay Lacy Aviation to install the charger at John Wayne Airport in Orange County.
