Considering 18 month lease special and taxes

Very close to leasing a GT but I would like to know from others who did the 18 month lease, did you have to pay tax on all the cap reductions? With the $7500, the air credit and pro credit and conquest, there is arounf $34,000 in cap reduction. Paying 9% ( sales plus 3% lease tax) on this comes to about $3200. Over 18 month lease this adds $180 month to the payment and can’t argue to do 36 month lease to dilute it as they are $200 more a month at baseline

Yup it sucks if you’re in a high tax state. I ended up sticking with November deals since the cap cost reduction was only 7500. I would just wait and see January lease deals. Only 2 more days. As long as you have an app in, you should be able to lock in whichever is better.
