The Lucid Air is now approved for the Con Ed Smart Charge program in Westchester, Rockland and Orange counties (New York). The program provides a $0.10/KwH rebate for charging at home between midnight and 6 am, along with other incentives.
However, in order to take advantage of the rebate, the vehicle must share its location with Smart Charge so that Smart Charge can verify the location of the charging. I haven't figured out how to do this, and calls to lucid's support center have not been successful.
Anyone have any ideas on whether this is possible?
It's bad enough that the Lucid Home Charger uses too much power on standby that the charger isn't efficient enough for the program . . . .
