just leased a stealth touring. it's gorgeous (as you know). strongly considering ceramic coating it. besides the cost, any reason I shouldn't? this would be done by a high end shop that does this type of service (ceramic, ppf, etc) for very expensive cars so I know their work is phenomenal and products too. at lease end, I suspect it would be hard to know it's on there except for it looking nice (would look like fresh wash / wax). meanwhile I would get the benefit of the ceramic over the three years of the lease and in the event I buy out the lease, the car will have been kept in great shape on the exterior. I know it's not officially allowed in the terms. What are your thoughts on doing the ceramic (again other than the cost, which I won't recover).

You can absolutely do it, and there will be 0 consequences. It's just like waxing your car. Don't worry about it.

I got my 2025 GT last month. I leased it as well, and the first thing I did was put on a ceramic coating. It cost me $16 and 40 minutes of my time. Mother makes a wonderful product that sprays on, light rub then buff. I take great car off my cars and traded in a 2018 Tesla model S that I really think looked better then the day I picked it up! It’s called CMX Ceramic coating. Try that before spending a fortune on a leased car.
