Center volume knob illumination

Anyone else find it frustrating when driving at night that the center volume knob is completely non-illuminated? I know where it is but still it's completely dark and the physical buttons on both sides for the AC are all illuminated.

It almost seems like they forgot about the center knob. Even a little LED square around the knob would be nice. Anyone know of potential solutions for a discerning driver?

Yeah but the steering wheel knob is kind of a pain since it's slower. I realize this is knit picky but it would be nice if that button were lit up. Just saying.

You'll get your muscle memory soon enough to find the knob without looking

Yeah but then we would complain about the constant reflection of the illumination on the screen and request a software switch to turn and keep it off.

I agree w you. I think it was a conscious design decision for whatever reason (distracting, takes away from the climate buttons since we know where the wheel is anyway or something). I do think a little LED under the wheel that was part of the overall brightness settings for all interior lighting would have been nice so it would illuminate the gap around the wheel from underneath (or maybe just the front part with the LED pointed toward the wheel so it doesn't send light too much into the cabin would be a nice touch).
