I have been driving my new Air Pure for almost 2 months. Love the car. Going from a Lexus Hybrid to this car is a big step up. And I made the leap mostly for the incentives being thrown my way. Really wasn’t expecting to adore the car this much.

I have seen threads here filled with people lovingly hand washing their cars and some talking ceramic coats. I have also seen people discussing issues they have had at the end of their lease. I am very very lazy. And would really love to take my car to a regular car wash. If I add a ceramic coats, will the lease overlords angrily send me a bill for 1 million dollars at the end? And if I take my car to the car wash and it has brush marks, will that also enrage the lords of my lease? What can and should I do to easily wash my car without being sent a billl?!?

Ceramic coating is your friend if you are lazy. Makes cleaning so much easier. I recommend it on the interior as well. But be sure to have it done properly by a professional. Interior ceramic is different from what they use on the exterior.

Also, if you find a good, reputable car wash, that would be just fine. Just don’t go cheap and use one of those gas station auto-wash things that could scratch your paint, break off parts of the car, etc.

Thank you both so much! I’m going to hunt down a ceramic coats shop and the best car wash in the area!

I’m going to read up on interior ceramic coating. I have never heard of that. If you know a resource that would be helpful please let me know!
