Brake system Fault

Hello,

I recently bought a 2024 Lucid air Pure RWD and has driven 450 miles, Yesterday I took it out to charge at Electrify America charging station, since there was 4-5 inches of snow on the ground I was trying to park near the charging station and I was trying to reverse and the car got stuck in the snow and immediately I got a warning message that the Brake system failed and I can't drive anymore. I can't drive forward or reverse. I called the customer care and they told me to reset the entire system couple of time but nothing worked. so now they told me that the car will be towed to Coldspring, MI for service. I have seen a lot Lucid owners have complained about this problem. I don't know how long this will take to fix.

Hi, Just wondering if you ever resolved your issue?

This happened to me today. I am located in Calif. It was a wet and rainy day today.

I was trying to reverse out of a parking spot, and got the same error message.
I was able to drive the car forward without any error messages, but in reverse triggered the error message and the car would not move in reverse after ~2 feet in the reverse direction.

In the end, what I did was to repeatedly put the vehicle in reverse, but at every attempt, to try gain a couple of feet in reverse (very slowly seems to work gaining a couple of feet every time).

Eventually when I was mostly clear of obstruction, I was able to put the gear stalk to forward and tightly turn out and away, in forward motion. I was fortunate to get the car to drive forward, or I would have been stuck not knowing what else to do....

It was the strangest incident I have experience with vehicle. I am ~ 6K miles into ownership.
