Yep, that seems like the only available path. My annoyance with profiles is that they change everything (HVAC, Infotainment, dash layout, lighting, etc,.) when the only thing we need is driver position.

The only issue we've had with changing profiles is on long trips. A navigation destination doesn't carry over and needs to be set for both. Not a big deal.
