Performance data and how can we send a suggestion to add to the dashboard data or the app?
I know we all drive more or less the same cars, but none of us have the same driving performance data. Speed, road conditions, outside temperature, tires, tire pressure, rim choices, and even outside wind affect our results.
However, one thing remains fairly constant: the average. Through the central console in Routes, I have the average number of kilometers (miles) traveled per kW of charge consumed.
Thus, in winter with the cold, snow, and winter tires, I average 4 km/kW, while in summer I get nearly 5.6 km/kW.
Considering that Lucid's data always indicates a very unrealistic hypothesis of KM per charge, I would like to propose that we add either to the dashboard or more easily to the Lucid app a very realistic and personalized Driving Distance data tailored to each of our driving styles and environments.
The Lucid app shows the charge percentage, so for my 2023 Lucid Air Touring if I have a 92 kW battery at full charge and I travel 4.06 km per kW in winter, the app or dashboard could indicate a maximum distance of 373 km. (92 x 4.06). In summer, the same charge would yield a result of 515 km (92 x 5.6).
Since the data is dynamic (directly linked to the battery charge %), as soon as the percentage drops, the distance would adjust accordingly. So at 60% charge, the data would also be for my winter driving (92 x 60% = 55.2 x 4.06 = 224.11 km). And as these are just numbers, there would be no need to plan for a Miles or KM version because the results would correspond to the driver's profile.
This dynamic data with a battery % threshold that everyone could set (10 or 20%) would allow us to obtain very precise data on the number of KM to travel before a recharge.
If these data cannot be integrated into the system/dashboard or the Lucid app, it would be very interesting if a member of the Lucid Forum could develop an app/Widget that could be displayed on the dashboard via CarPlay.
