Battery losing 3% in 10 hours

Here's the context:
My GT has been at SC since Thursday.
Last night, I kept getting alerts that the door was open.
The alerts would come every few hours or so.
At 9:38 am today, I opened the app and saw the driver's door opened. The SOC was 59%
At 7:05 pm, SOC was 56%.
Climate was off.
By the way, at 3 pm, I called the SC to let them know about the door alerts and was told the car was up on the rack and indeed the door was opened.
The Service Advisor didn't seem to want to mess with lowing the car to close the door, and I didn't push.
But now that I've seen the SOC dropping, I'm wondering:
1- Is it normal to lose 3% SOC over 10 hours?
2- Anything I need to worry about losing SOC and the door opened for the weekend?

My guess would be with the door open, you’ll have lights and stuff on, plus it won’t be able to go to sleep which is when I would think the drain would be minimized

Should I be concerned about the LED headlights burn out then?
As far as I know, I can't remotely turn off the headlights.
Maybe I should call the 800 number tomorrow to ask them to document this in the car's record.

I’m no expert but if the service person isn’t, I wouldn’t be. Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve heard of any headlights issues outside the 2 dark spots… ie, headlight failure/burnout

At home, I purposely keep the driver door open to load/unload things and the car does go to sleep after a while, maybe 15 minutes, with all lights turned off interiorly and externally: all dark from the instrumental clusters to the pilot displays...

I would not worry about it unless the battery has drained down to almost empty.

But I also don't know of anyone having the headlights on continuously for 2 days while the car is stationary and the LED apparatus can't cool off.

Not sure where the 3% loss goes to but I do expect some loss. I am writing down my car's SOC right now and will report how much it loses when I wake up in the morning.

3% in 10 hours is a lot for a car that is parked. That's more than 3kWH, which is quite a bit of power--something like 30-35 100 watt light bulbs burning for 10 hours (I think--I don't do electricity very well. )

People are too obsessive about these cars - what did you do when you had a normal ICE car and it went in for service? The ability to remotely monitor it is making folks neurotic. I imagine the techs at Lucid know what they are doing.

I’m actually too busy and lazy to monitor my car when it’s in for service.
This time, I got the alerts and had to open the app.

At this hour, the SOC is 55%.

Also interesting to me that the car is raised on the rack with the door opened.
I always thought that for safety purposes, all doors should be closed. Maybe that's actually not necessary.

Yours is a little more but not too much. Did you leave your fob there? They might leave the fob right inside your car or close to your that prevents it from sleep.

Sounds like a seat heater is on or heated steering wheel, that load would be fairly heavy (3kWH) as mentioned above. I wouldn't worry about, also turn off the app and go enjoy a drink or a run, I used to be OCD on my first Model S back in 2013, but after S, S, S, X, X, Y & a Ford Lightning, I don't monitor anything anymore, just set it up and forget about it. Looking forward to picking up a GRAVITY in 4 years when our X lease expires.

I tested again after I reported this morning. This time, I left the doors open with all the exterior and interior/screen displays on. They all automatically shut down after a while (longer than 15 minutes, but I didn't hang around afterward to see how long).

After 10 hours with doors open without manually turning anything off, the car only lost 1% again. I did not wake the car up by refraining from opening the app for 10 hours. Notice that each time the app is open, all the lights and screen displays are on again until they take their time to turn off automatically when undisturbed.

Most likely, something keeps waking up your car, so you lose more than usual. It could be because the fob was inside the car, a favorite place I see technicians love to do, or because of frequently opening the app.

Nevertheless, I would not worry about this issue. Your battery won't be depleted or harmed because of this incident. Your car will be normal again once it's at home.
