Back door edge protector

Good day Ktw13, did you find a solution for your doors? I picked up my Air GT a few weeks ago and have had 2 mishaps with cars being parked next to us and decided to investigate what to use. The rear door on the Air has a corner that protrudes just enough that with some force, wind possibly(?), that it can inflict some serious damage. My research led me to Twraps having a door protector film that will do the job that I want. I elected to do some additional searching to discover that 3M makes a similar 8mm self healing product available at car parts stores or online. I am selecting to try the 3M product and will let you know how it works.
Thanks for the suggestion, now I park my Air far enough from the other car that the back door can open fully in garage.
Protector is certainly handy to avoid those oops.
Air back door has an interesting desing that the door edge forms a part of wheel arch like SUV.
