Awaiting My Pure

I'm hoping that my pre-price increase Pure will be delivered in Q1 2023. I read a report that, since Lucid is having trouble sourcing the glass roof, they may produce metal roof Pures soon. Does anyone else have hopeful information?

Lucid have stated that production wlll begin on Pure in Q4 of this year. No indication yet that they will not meet that target. That would hopefully mean the first deliveries of Pure in Q1 2023. Then it's just a matter of which options you wanted and whether any of those cause a delay. And then of course, where you are in line.

Lucid have delivered zero Silver cars to date, for instance. No idea when they plan on working out whatever issues with Silver they seem to be having. But I wouldn't count on Silver arriving in Q1.

Rear wheel drive, non Surround Sound Pro, and the 20-inch wheels all also seem to be pushing back deliveries as well.

If none of those applies to you, and you reserved amongst the earliest folks (I believe some started reserving as early as 2020) then you may see your car in Q1. But there are a LOT of Pure reservations, so I wouldn't count on anything. Speculation is that of Lucid's 38k reservations, at least 20k—probably more—are for Pure.
