I cornrows have a gt with 21"wheels and thinking about getting 19s. Does anyone have specs of the wheels including weight, dimensions and offset? Are these forged?

Also anyone have aftermarket 19" forged wheels with some range data? I just really want that 500 mile range lol.

I saw a few people talk about why anyone would need that 500 or 600 mile range because would you want to drive non stop for 7 hours... but for me I have a 450 mile round trip where I would love to not stop and charge.

You're going to need to drive under optimal conditions at 50mph to see that kind of range. Plan a stop and reduce your anxiety. The car charges really fast.

Realistically , it will be virtually impossible to go 450 miles without charging , unless you have absolutely perfect conditions , no hills, no brisk acceleration, etc . Plan on 300-350 with normal driving and if you are really lucky 400.
Yes, the car has achieved 500 miles during a “ real world “ range test, but those figures are very very difficult to achieve with normal driving.

With so many EA charger problems, I feel like I'd want to take the route of "more stops less charging" and wherever there is a EA charger that works, do 80% charge lol

With good conditions and little elevation change, there are a few of us that have gotten 90 to 93% of epa which would get you that 450 but with little to spare. A quick 10 minute charge will ensure you aren’t sweating making it or not. Not having the aero covers probably will cost 5% in range.

put on Aero covers while driving, and as soon as you park, take it off everytime

But does anyone have the 19"wheels? Are there no difference between the 19 and 21? Possibly summer tires vs as tires?

As far as actual wheel specs, I can't find anything more than width and diameter. The 19s are 8.5" front and rear. The 21s are 8.5" front and 9.5" rear. It would be nice to know the ETs (offsets) and the bolt spacing. Given the weight of the car, it would be comforting to know if the wheels are forged vs cast or some hybrid method.

Does anyone on here have aftermarket 19s? Would love to see some good looking conservative 19 forged wheels

Also would anyone be interested in possibly swapping me for the 19s?

Second post in thread.

Some say that Model S wheels fit fine. Don't know if this is completely correct.

I’m still looking for the lucid stock 19” wheel offsets, the brake calipers are very large and I need to choose a 19” aftermarket wheel that will fit correctly

The Air does have remarkably capable-looking brakes, larger than any other car we've owned.

The specs are cast into an arm inside the wheel, TUV requires it. size will be similar to: 19 x8.0 J and the offset is listed as ET=xx or just ETXX. ET is the German abbreviation for offset.

ANYONE HAVE A 19" Handy??
