Anybody else have fingerprints in their paint??!

Background-I actually refused delivery of my first Lucid. When I did the walk around there was a dent on the trunk. Right at the top. Like somebody closed a rag in it. Detailer maybe? It looked like a hair. But it was actually a half inch black crack from the underside of the trunk lid. They didn’t mention this, but, I saw it, they admitted they saw it. You could feel the crack but they’d polished it over anyways and tried to give it to me. I refused delivery.

I had to fly home with no car, but they gave me a good deal on a higher model, and my sales guy was great. Okay, fine, I fly back.

Had the (second, non dented car) car almost two weeks, did my first coat of ceramic today. Get to the back strip above rear windshield right?

Oh what’s this? Little smudge up here? Hmm maybe it will wipe off. It won’t??!

It’s a fingerprint-under the clear coat
somebody at the factory painted it, accidently touched it wet, then sprayed clear over it and shipped it anyways.

Man I am routing for these guys but that is unbelievable. Right in the paint, on the top of the roof right where you see it.

Add to the list the my wipers quit working, the front suspension clunks, the woofer rattles, and the interior HVAC controls are chipping off…and I’m glad I only leased this thing.

Get it together Lucid come on!!

Post another picture- not sure which body panel that is. Need wider frame. Did they claybar the car...you don't claybar over that panel. Could it be a detailer mistake- when you recieved the car, it wasn't there. Painted over. Your detailer thinned out the section. I wouldn't blame Lucid for that.

Other issues - not sure what is going on but just get service to look at it. They will fix if there are any issues. Service is exemplary.

Thats the panel on the roof between the rear glass and glass roof. There's other flaws in the clear on the edges of the panel that will be problematic after a couple summers in the sun, too, but I didn't get a picture of those since the whole panel with need replaced/repainted anyways.

Otehr issues not sure what is going on but just get e=service to look at it. They will fix if there are any issues. Service is exemplary.

Is there a center you recommend? I can't get Seattle to return my calls or emails.
