2026 Air Touring
Did 650 miles from NY to TN today in our new 2026 Touring, first road trip in the car. A few observations:

•Hands Free worked flawlessly, across all interstates and good chunk of highways with two lanes and a barrier. Only a few nudges were needed, almost all on left exit ramps.

•DreamDrive was mostly solid, but there were two instances (one in Adaptive Cruise and another in regular Drive Assist) where it did not see the car in front of me and was about to blast into it a full speed. Not great, even though that's why you keep your eyes on the road I'm used to better. It took me til tonight on the forums to figure out how to resume cruise speed - asking Lucid Assistant where the resume button was resorted in her lying (!) about how it was "the resume button on the steering wheel, near the DreamDrive controls" (it is not, you flick the dial up to resume).

•Great efficiency- averaged 3.8 kW/h, more than I expected, with a full car and fully-loaded frunk and trunk, about 50% of the time doing ~80 mph on interstates and 50% doing 65-75 mph on two-lane highways often with traffic lights, driving not too aggressive but not babying it, AC cranked, and massage seats rolling.

•Software quirks still abound. At one point the speakers fell out of sync, causing both Siri/Carplay and the in-car Tidal app to sound like an echo chamber. A logo reset fixed that. And separately, lost CarPlay after one charging session - it would spin endlessly trying to load it. This had not happened before, but a second logo reset also fixed it.

•The massage seats are absolutely the best I've ever sat in in a car, normally I find them useless poking/buzzing at me but Lucid's "deep" setting legitimately felt good.

•Charging is fantastic if you spend a few min to figure out where to go. #1 was an Electrify America which hit 150 kW even though I plugged in at 60%, #2 was a Mercedes charger which blasted me from 35 to 98% in 40 minutes while we grabbed lunch, hitting 250 kW on plugging it in and staying there a while, last was another EA which did what it was supposed to do from 40 to 80%.

•Used ABRP to plan it out, but their original plan directed me to slower Blink and eGo chargers, so I moved things around and had fantastic results. I think in hindsight ABRP was a bit cautious and we could've made it work with two charges- I've connected the live Enode data, is there a better way to have it recalculate on the fly?

All in all a fantastic road trip car.

I took my Lucid Air from AZ to CA recently, fantastic experience! Charging was a breeze! I don’t have massage seats, wished I got them!

The DreamDrive misses would definitely make me nervous too. Glad you caught them in time, and hopefully Lucid improves that with future updates.
