My wife wants to know why I have BIG BOXES of wire. I tried to tell her is a guy thing. That did not work.
I have a bunch of new heavy wire perfect for hardwiring an EV charger. That is what I did with the 6 and 10 gauge. All is left over from EV charger installs and for my wife's electric glass kilns. US made Cerro Southwire or better. The 6 AWG is 30 feet long, good for two 15 foot line power conductors. It was made in June of this year. I also have lots of 8 and 10 gauge for use for the grounding wire. Code permits you to use up to two AWG gauges smaller for the grounding wire.
Prices will be at least half off of HD or Lowes prices.
