Signs of life today...my car has moved from "in production" to "preparing for delivery". And for some icing on the cake, the pickup location is listed as the Houston studio instead of the Dallas one. 🤦‍♂️

Apparently they have some sort of lot that stores cars that's not at the studio/service center. 🤷‍♂️ I suspect it's probably next to Dr. Evil's lair!

Haha...well, I'd prefer maximum deliveries over maximum drama...but I agree, we may be getting drama instead.

And I just got a call from my SA... so apparently the car IS in Houston (at a location not directly at the service center) but hasn't undergone PDI which may take a bit longer since it sounds like they are going to go over it with a fine tooth comb and simultaneously train everyone on Gravity...

So....after being told Tuesday that my DE was on the way to Houston (with expected arrival in Houston yesterday or today for a Dallas delivery this weekend) and then having radiosilence from my SA, I decided I would actually call the Houston studio/service center to see if anyone there could...

I hope so too. He did call me out of the blue today to tell me according to the system it was physically on a truck and scheduled to be arriving in Houston tomorrow. (And I'm not someone who regularly bugs him or checks in...the last text we had was about 2 weeks ago when he said he'd contact me...

I share the same sentiment. I hope my SA is actually correct this time about the delivery timeline and it goes smoothly!

Is that inspection at the factory or part of the pre delivery inspection? My SA seemed to imply that unless there was damage in transit that my car would probably be in Houston for only about 1 day before being transported to Dallas (unless he's misinformed).

That's what my portal showed up until today (I rechecked today after my sales guy called and now it shows software versions). Apparently my DE is on 3.1.7. Pardon the sloppy cutout. And, in case you're curious, if you click the software version link...it takes you to an error page.

It should take me about 24hrs to find some white sheets and cut eye-holes in them so I can ghost the forum! Muahahaha 👻. J/k. Yes, if I *actually* get it, I'll be happy to post as many pics as everyone wants and answer all questions. The SA said this will be the first DE in Texas. I'm surprised...

Just got a call from my SA.... My DE is on it's way to Houston and should be there tomorrow...He said it will undergo PDI and should be in Dallas by the weekend and ready to pick up! Fingers crossed. I suspect there's a big push to get things delivered by the end of the quarter.
