The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

The phrase "Ignorance Is Bliss" may be somewhat appropo when it comes to car buying; depending on the customer. If I hadn't stubbled upon this forum after repeatedly seeing the Gravity mentioned as the next big thing in ev suv, I could be happily (thus the "bliss" reference) driving around in...

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

So in some ways, while we've been waiting for the media reviews released today, there's more in the coming months that won't necessarily inform those of us with Gravity orders, but will help those yet to order. In some ways, if forum members start receiving deliveries in the coming months...

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

OK. That makes sense. Especially point #2 since I've heard Kyle talk about the access to Lucid personnel I've heard of product launches, especially with other products. The iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and other smartphones come to mind. However, some of this has to also be attributed to Lucid being...

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

I never knew this, but it makes sense. I suppose most of the video reviews I've seen were the ones that come months later. So Rivian, Audi, etc. all had media day(s) prior to or in tandem with the production announcement?

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

@borski is it accurate to say your wife currently has a rare, limited production '25 Gravity GT? I recall the discussion on the forum about model year designation back when Lucid first gave the Gravity a '26 model year designation and then changed it. Since her model was released prior to Jan...

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

I know companies have media events/days; much like what Lucid has done. However, it's like they invited every media outlet they could think of and even welcomed the uninvited to a big dance. I don't recall this happening with the Air. I'm not a car guy, so I don't historically follow car...

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

Good to know this was stated. I've been looking at videos and reading articles to the point where I'm now just skimming articles, so I missed that information. We shall see indeed. No car is perfect, especially early production ones. I imagine some imperfections will slip through to customers...

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

Good to see the Motorhead Moma video. I hope the soccer moms out there who like being up high as queen of the road in an Escalade or Suburban, will view her video. Wading into the minivan/station wagon pool: Those who like them will love the Gravity. For the off-road macho stud: Go check out...

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

Agree, but reviewer does mention that. When I say "con" I mean the reviewers con, not mine.

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

For those with limited time or patience, of the five videos posted in post #4, definitely check out the off-road and rally course demo at the 21-minute mark of the fourth listed video.

The Press Embargo Has Been Lifted

Con from the Drake Moschkau video: The outside looks too small for the amount of interior space you have. Buyers like to sit up high. Then we find out he prefers the big boxy looks of the Escalade IQ and R1S. Reviewer bias toward the traditional suv look is going to come through. Basically...

How is the Press Responding to the opening of Gravity Orders?

Thanks for sharing that info. It's somewhat challenging to keep up with all the reviews. I'll add that one to my list.

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

Thanks for the response. December software version versus March version. Makes sense. Hopefully what I saw in the NYC event video is the brake indicator.

    Lucid's Future

Following the Porsche comparison and considering Lucid's future, with the Gravity in Lucid's immediate future and the Earth not far behind, will an article similar to this be written about Lucid one day? Gravity like the Cayenne (SUV) Earth like the Boxster (affordable)...

    Lucid's Future

A great topic!!! Another thread I'm watching. So the challenge seems to be Lucid not putting sales volumes concerns ahead of engineering focus. With the majority ownership of the Saudi PIF, Lucid is more like Porsche (with Volkswagen ownership) than Tesla, purely from an ownership perspective...

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

@borski any response to this question?

Okay, I still choose the Air, but…

Pretty close to my quote. Since I don't have a VIN for a Gravity, I used the VIN from a used 2025 Air GT with 4k miles that I found for sale online. When I put in Lucid Gravity as the vehicle and no VIN, I get this quote.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Absolutely! That's why the hint from @AirDoll of a new thread title that references a certain Lizzo song is so good. ADT and I don't mean the security company! 😀

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Not to be a David Downer (Debbie's bro), but the Titanic also sank on April 15. And yet me Mum's birthday was also April 15, so ... . Just release it. Our off topic conversations about tv shows are because we're like a waiting room full of expectant fathers who have seen the first child born...

I love em all. I watch them even now on MeTV and MeTVToons.
