It wouldn't be a problem except she likes to sit up so high and close to the wheel. As soon as her profile loads the seat starts pressing me right into the steering wheel.

The fobs work nearly flawlessly for us. If I walk near the car with the fob the doors immediately unlock. I'd give them a try and see if they work better. I believe whoever gets in first is whose profile gets loaded or whichever key gets detected first anyway. You have to go into the settings...

Should I get metal roof and also DDPro?

I ordered my Touring with the metal roof. The Touring and Grand Touring I test drove both had glass roofs and I liked the look of them at night, but didn't feel like I'd want to live with one all the time. I did have my roof and mirrors wrapped because I really like the two-tone look of the...

New Lucid Owner - Dream Edition Performance

Welcome. My last car was a C7 Z06, too.

    Jaguar Rebrand

Maybe I'm not the target audience, but I want to see cars in a car commercial and not people dressed like telletubbies.

    Nervous new Lucid AT owner

I've had my new Touring since April. I've only had two bugs during that time. One was the top screen didn't come on one time when I got in the car. I did a reboot and it immediately worked and never happened again. The other is the driver's side soft close doors only working intermittently since...

    Hunting wild Lucid Airs

Finally saw my first Lucid in the wild since buying mine earlier this year. Saw a black one Friday night on I88 between Oak Brook and Naperville.

    Bizarre Hey Lucid Interaction

We spent about eight hours driving over the weekend mostly listening to podcasts. It picked up random stuff from the podcasts a few times and responded to it. I drive a lot for work and usually listen to audiobooks. My Bixby voice assistant occasionally picks up on the audiobook and tries to...

My Geico policy went way up today :)

My insurance just went up on my 2024 Touring for the next six months. It was $111 per month and now it's went up to $125 per month. This is with State Farm. I guess I should count myself lucky compared to some of the rates in this thread.

    Are you getting any tint?

This was my first time opting for the ceramic tint. He gave me a discount for getting two cars tinted at once. $1100 for both. Did you get the glass roof tinted, too? I have the metal roof and had it wrapped because I really like the two-tone look.

    Are you getting any tint?

70% on the windshield and 35% everywhere else.

    Hunting wild Lucid Airs

I'm going on four months of owning mine and I've not seen another one during that time. The only other one I've seen was on my way to Chicago when I first test drove one.

Real world range touring 19 inch wheels

My lifetime average is 3.7 after almost 4000 miles, so that sounds about right. Mostly highway for those miles. I normally set the cruise at 77mph and occasionally do bursts of 80+ to quickly pass and that still gets me around 3.6 or 3.7 according to the trip meter. That's with the AC on. I'm...

Real world range touring 19 inch wheels

Our last trip to visit family I attempted to get better efficiency on the 250 mile drive back home. Kept it in smooth mode and set the cruise at 72mph instead of 77mph. Managed 4.1 miles per kilowatt on that drive. AC was running as it was in the 90's outside.

    1st car wash.

No and no primer on it either. It just has clips. The guy that did the wrap said it looks like the original was just glued on as an afterthought. When he was wrapping the roof last week he went to pop it off with his trim tool and thought it was just being difficult until it damaged it. Then saw...

    1st car wash.

I took delivery in Oak Brook a little over three months ago. Only work that's been done on the car was at the Coldwater, Michigan service center about a month ago for the frunk alignment. The wrap guy got a replacement piece from Lucid and I went by there this afternoon to have him put it on...

    1st car wash.

That's interesting. I just had my roof wrapped last week and the installer broke one of those pieces because it had been glued on in several spots. They'd even put primer on the back of it to hold the glue better. The car is new and I'm the original owner, so it had to have been done by Lucid.

    Lucidnaire style

Gotcha. I'm looking to get some wheels at some point soon. We travel to visit family about once a month and right now we can comfortably make the drive from 80% charge. I'm just wondering how much it'll affect it.
