About to be a lucid leaser, a few questions please

Where? I've searched all over the site. The nearest Lucid service center I could find was Houston. I know there is a mobile service in Austin is that what you are referring to?

What’s is the “connected” in the Lucid Charger

There are a few things to look at. Not hugely useful but why not connect it?

Disable auto phone unlock at home

Have the same "problem" and I don't think there is a config option for this aside for turning passive unlock off so you have to push the handle inwards for the car to unlock

    Car Software Update cadence

Going to date myself here but here goes...... I remember when you bought a car and the car was the car. The dealer said "Here are your keys, bring it back if it breaks and we will fix it" and off you went and the chances that you went back to the dealer were slim. If you wanted updates to the...

    Collision Avoidance - No braking?

Coming from the Audi world the collision avoidance (Pre-Sense) feature has a very similar behavior of a jarring stop so this isn't unique to Lucid. And it braking out of parking lots/driveways when there is cross traffic can't be turned off without turning off the entire feature. It was...

Amazon Alexa skills with Lucid motors

I have very few problems with Alexa in the car seems to work for most things although oddly enough it doesn't recognize SirusXM as an authorized device (weird). The Alexa Lucid Skill however (where you tell your home Echo's to "Lock the car doors" or some such) simply doesn't work for me. When...

    Alexa and homelink

It is depending on the garage door opener you have. Liftmaster in their infinite wisdom (sarcasm alert) doesn't integrate with Alexa but you can get 3rd party parts to work around that.

    Lucid app update v1.49.0

On the new version of the app when I add the lucid widget I get…. Pretty sure that’s not how it is supposed to work. Any idea?

    Car Software Update cadence

Why would their current only revenue-generating car be abandoned? That would only happen if the PIF fund pulled all the $$ and walked away.

    Auto Insurance using regen breaking

Tried that app with an un-named insurance company once. Drove slower and more carefully sure. The score improved, but insurance costs didn't. Felt like the cost only went up. Removed the app, they complained, then removed the insurance company. :)

    EA Charging Problems

Gas stations had to "grow up" just like charging stations https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/short-picture-history-gas-stations-180967337/#:~:text=Before%20that%2C%20motorists%20bought%20gasoline,a%20cultural%20institution%20was%20born.

Excited New Owner of Touring in San Carlos

Echoing the above. Hardwire it, every electrician I spoke with said the same thing. I went with a ChargePoint charger and it works but wifi is finicky. Could be my wifi but I have another device on the other side of the wall that works just fine.

Audi has this exact same issue. My S5 used to violently slam on the brakes when in this situation. Had to turn off the feature

They could’ve been rotated and not balanced in the right position or you could’ve thrown a weight should be relatively easy problem to address make sure they do a high speed balance since evidently you like to drive...
