    Lucid Gravity in the wild

It's a fix-it ticket which means you attach one, have it signed off by a cop and pay a small fee. I had that happen once when I parked in a city zone where they scan plates. I did the fix it with a removable bracket (they won't sign off if you just tape it on, it has to appear permanent), then...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Hard to say. The options were missing so it had to be in some stage of production, but I didn't inquire further as it didn't meet my needs.

    Test drives?

The way the red tail light bar streaks across the back of the black Gravity in that youtube thumbnail has me intrigued... But not enough to order a black car...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I got a call yesterday from my SA telling me that they had a car just like mine (cough) due to people canceling their orders. Then he listed the differences: Tahoe interior instead of Yosemite (the popular option, but for me, not interested) 21" or 22" wheels instead of 20" (not interested)...

    June 7th nation wide event

They've had Gravity models in the studios a while back that were roped off and were pre-production models. They've had Gravity models in the studio you can explore that accompany the test drive circuit. Have they yet had any standalone Gravity models that you can explore in a studio that were...

    June 7th nation wide event

I'll note that they've said similar things in the past only to have nobody at the center know what event you are talking about and a mostly misinformed person present that describes (badly) the "...(features)..." that set the new models apart. Most of what they say you will find there are...

    400kW Gravity Charging!

I don't think it is redundant. The "current" in DC is standing in for "nature/directionality of flow" whereas the second use of current is standing in for "measure of amperage". It can't simply mean "amperage" in DC because in its partner term AC, both voltage and amperage change and so the term...

How long before all GDEs are delivered?

The range with the 20/21s has already been published. It's nearly 30 miles lower than the equivalent GT model. I am not interested in giving up that range for more hp, badging, or exclusivity. And I certainly won't get it sooner in any case. It's a net loss for my interests and needs, not even...

How long before all GDEs are delivered?

Just a nit, but "don't want" isn't the same as "can't justify". It might seem odd that I'm on this thread, but I came here because I am loosely interested in the scheduling questions that the title explores. While I'm here, I'm just pointing out that your "everyone wants the DE, but they can't...

How long before all GDEs are delivered?

But the DE is less of a car for me. Why would I pay more for less of a car even if I have the money. It's less of a car (for me). Not everyone cares about hp.

How long before all GDEs are delivered?

Not for me, there were only 2 reasons to consider: - time frame - the DE was supposed to win on this front, but it looks like it doesn't - range - the GT wins here In terms of which car I'd get the GT wins outright with no factors that matter to me in the DE's favor. Non-issues: - money - I...

Gravity spotted testing on Nürburgring Nordschleife Racetrack (Germany)

In the first video, start at 9:45 for at least 4 passes by the Gravity test vehicles.

    Towing a Lightship?

Haha. Whenever somebody brings this up I kind of wonder "just how much trust did you have in the internet before this? (shudders)"

How long to keep an EV?

My resale value was dropping by about $1000/month when I traded my '17 X P100D for a Polestar 3 a little over a month ago. Even Tesla wouldn't take it except to trade in on a new model. Polestar gave me a big discount on a lease for it, though.

Convince me to buy a Gravity DE (current Air DE owner)

At one point they allowed 5 passenger seating on a DE in the configurator, but I don't see the option now. It's an indication that they can, or at least that they have been considering it.

    First Dream Edition Delivery!

The NA in NACS is North American. Cars in most of the rest of the world, including Teslas, use CCS2. It's my understanding that CCS2 has been supporting higher voltages all along unlike the Supercharger network...?

Gravity GT First Drive and Orders information

I was going to ask my wrap appliers if they could reverse the bear decal by applying it to the back side of the wrap. I'm not sure if it is meant to be viewed from the back side of the decal, though.

Test Drive vehicles - San Jose 4/24/25

I like the Yosemite. It's not true white like the Tesla interior, the salesman said "think of granite" and that clicked. It's very close to white. It also goes well with the white weave on the doors. The wood they had with it was slightly darker than what shows in the configurator, but I liked...

Lucid will not offer heads-up display on Gravity GT (for now)

I should have worded that "I have a different PoV from the perspective of ..." These aren't really conclusions to agree or disagree with...

Lucid will not offer heads-up display on Gravity GT (for now)

I disagree, but from the perspective of someone who owns vehicles for 7+ years. From the perspective of my phone which lasts me 1-2 years before trade-up, I'd agree. For reference, I had my last EV for 8 years and new stuff did come along during that 8 years - far more "new stuff" than will...
