Just got denied, but the email did say to contact DOT to have the car added. I'm sure it won't be that easy, but I did email the program administrator at [email protected]. Hopefully they are willing to add our cars to the list.
Blah blah blah stats about usage rates, income and demographics. It was advertised as being supported, therefore it should be supported.
Improvements to DD Pro also should come down the line.
The AA device in the other thread is good enough to shut me up for now. Some official word from Lucid...
I would absolutely love an easy way to toggle it on and off. I want it on because I use it every day but my driveway is narrow and there are electric panels hanging out that I can't see when it tilts down.
Wish we could replace some of the not so useful b touch buttons off to the left of the...
Edit: Weird, once I swapped to the USB C connection it popped up. But also, I connected my phone to the carlinkit via Bluetooth. So not sure what was the fix.
But it works!
Is the device supposed to automatically pop up as a carplay device ? Or do I need to connect it somehow to the car? (Besides just plugging it in).
I've got it plugged in, got a steady blue and a flashing red light but the lucid doesn't act like there is carplay connected.
A friend has a standard 120v outlet on the exterior of a house he rents.
I don't want to cause issues with his power, but he offered a place to crash for eclipse viewing and said I could charge. He isn't sure if its a dedicated 120v or if it is shared.
My concern is:
1. Is plugging in the Air...
You have that Indiana Jones spirit. I wanted to go upstate NY to view the eclipse in the Lucid, but imagined the long line of EVs waiting for the one working charger, that's also working at reduced capacity in the one charging station. I'm burning dino juice all the way lol.
I don't believe...
Is there a way to create or import a playlist for USB playback?
I just dumped my collection of songs and it breaks it up into albums, artist and 3 separate entries of 474 songs. I'm guessing there is some kind of song list limit for the Air.
Preferably, I'd have my entire collection and be...
I took a gamble on double sided trim tape and used that on the PPF covered bumper.
The look isn't ideal because the plate and frame is on, but I feel better there aren't holes. It's held up and going strong since June.
Those are summer tires and are going to be terrible in the snow. It's actually pretty dangerous. At least get all seasons, but better yet all weathers with the triple snow icon
A full fledged winter set is the best but depending on location might be overkill e.g. nyc
If keeping it plugged in still results in "power limited due to low temperature the" then is plugging in really keeping the battery warm?
I just do it anyway but I always wondered.
Depending on the route Lucid's nav takes me or how many times my suction cup falls off during a trip, I seem to flip between bargaining and acceptance.
I was definitely bargaining during the software wishlist.
