Look at your AA settings to see if it's set on Day Mode only

Are you talking about the AA screen itself, Google Maps, Waze, etc? What phone model and Android version are you on?

This is strange, as mine works perfect from the first time I connected AA. Even when I drive through short tunnels it switches to dark mode and switches back when I exit. On Pixel 7 with Android 16.

Dang! Helps prevent but not impenetrable I guess. That’s why I hate driving behind semis, trucks, and large pickups on crappy roads because they kick up the little rocks and stones that create chip damage that are expensive to repair. Sorry that it happened.

Get PPF on at least front of your car. Helps prevent potential rock chips like this including to those sensors.

Was it while you’re driving normal, with DA on , or with ACC on? I haven’t noticed it but my GF was complaining about why I was braking so much when I know I wasn’t on the freeway driving normal and with DA on.

Another tip, if you want a bit more of the screen , adjust the task bar widgets settings to on and your AA apps and controls will be at the bottom versus left bar next to the Lucid menu options.

Waze on AA is so much cleaner (crisper) than the CarPlay. It's also integrated with the cockpit where the directions show up on the right side of the driver screen. So far, no issues with AA as I can tell!
