Thanks for sharing this. I never bothered cleaning as the fluid did come back. Maybe something to do with temperature fluctuations as well. I am in a cold climate. But i will try cleaning with a tooth brush as described in the manual and see if that makes it even better. Thanks

Yes it’s a great question. Doesn’t make any sense.

I don’t think they have a fix :( As mentioned earlier in this thread, multiple wheel replacements, multiple service on the wheels themselves (putting felt inside basically). And all the loaners I have driven have it very bad. Definitely temperature dependent Less noticeable in colder weather...

Yep. The colder weather does indeed help :) but it’s still there

I have not had any luck getting it completely fixed. multiple wheel replacements and various other service attempts (adding foam or whatver..)

UPDATE: The wheel was completely silent for the first 2-3 weeks. Then gradually the creaking/clicking has returned. So no go on my 3rd steering wheel :(

UPDATE: mobile service was at my house for an unrelated issue. We got it to work by taking the case off and turning the phone upside down :) I also talked to the service manager separately. Asking if maybe there is way to move the sensor around. He didn't think that was a possibility. Anyway...

Just Upgraded from iPhone 12 to 15. The 12 worked fine. Although you really had to push the phone down into the slot to get it to charge.. The 15 doesn't charge at all. With or without the case. Anyone else with latest iPhone 15?
