It is not an easy fix. I would take it in. They had to fix mine 3 times. Unsure how to get them to come out. I’m 5 hours out so had mobile service.

I have an AT and in Pittsburgh area. If you ever want to meet up on a weekend. Have not had any issues with roads, put on 6k miles on it already.

Service came to fix it and ended up breaking a part on the replacement. They had to replace the whole light panel. So now functional frunk but scheduled for a re-repair.

I have a similar issue. Edge of the hood caught under the plastic trim. This yanked the inner clip out of its position and snapped on auto close.
