    Q4 2022 Earnings Preview Article

Okay, I leave. I didn't think too much about the influence that my statement makes. Neither did I want to hurt anyone's interest. I just wanted to express my thoughts. Nothing more than that. Hope you enjoy your Lucid!

If the company goes out of business, it doesn't matter if the car is good or not.

    Q4 2022 Earnings Preview Article

Yeah, but Tesla is the pioneer. What was the environment back then? I've never heard a single person talking about EVs 10 years ago. Nowadays, manufacturers are spawning EVs like crazy. Do you think Lucid will have time to spare? Or will these competitors give Lucid a chance?

    Q4 2022 Earnings Preview Article

Tesla is run by Elon Musk who is a master social media influencer. Lucid is run by Peter Rawlinson who only knows efficiency but nothing else. Their only similarity is they both make EVs. That's it.

    Q4 2022 Earnings Preview Article

It's indeed a good car! I may revisit a Lucid store 5 years later(if they are still there), but I don’t regret the decision I made now.

I'm going to do the same. It's a hard decision to make but I believe it's a right one.

They lost 9,000(37,000-28,000) reservations from the last 2 quarters right? Did they deliver that many cars?

    Q4 2022 Earnings Preview Article

The scary thing is that they lost more reservations than they produced cars.

    Q4 2022 Earnings Preview Article

An analyst asked why so few cars being produced. Is it a demand or production limitation? I think Peter has implicitly confirmed it was a demand issue by answering it was not a production issue. I guess more cancellations come from Pure reservation holders since they are more cost conscious then...

Battery Sizes - New information for Pure AWD / RWD

I guess the real reason might be the 5 cycle test is so generous that gives them a large room for adjustments. Since the Touring is more expensive, they gave it a bit more EPA range to make it more attractive. Nothing more than that. In real world, neither of those cars can achieve their EPA ranges.

Battery Sizes - New information for Pure AWD / RWD

The possibility of a random variation to cause the range results to inline with the price differences is 1 out of 6 based on my math. I doubt it's a coincidence.

Yeah, you are right. But you didn't answer my question.

Battery Sizes - New information for Pure AWD / RWD

Then why would RWD have the least range(406).

Congrats on your solution. But I mean do we have to do this if we care about audio?

    Slower DC Charging for RWD?

I'm more than satisfied with even a 200kw charging speed. What I'm wondering is the reason behind this difference. I can think of two possibilities. 1. A different wunderbox for the RWD. 2. A smaller battery pack. I'm afraid the later one is more likely the reason.

    Slower DC Charging for RWD?

I noticed this newest update on the Lucid website. Only the AWD Pure is able to charge at 250kw. I assume it will be less for the RWD. Does it imply the RWD version will be equipped with a smaller battery?
