The culprit seems to be the driver’s seat headrest. It blocks a lot of sound from the left rear of the car. I jumped into the back seat and leaned forward, centering myself in the cabin, and it sounded amazing. If only I could do that at 75mph on the highway! 😕

I'm a layman at best, so bear with me on the terminology. On some atmos tracks the sounds that are sent to some of the rear channels are almost inaudible from the driver's seat. It's really frustrating when it's vocals or a particular guitar riff, etc. I haven't messed with the balance at all...

I just took delivery this morning. The Rocklin service manager brought it over to my house, I took it for a quick spin, and now I’m on my way out of town for 4 weeks. Boo. What a car, though! I can’t wait to come back and set everything up.

Is that delivery date your preference, or will it take them that long to get it ready for you? I was hoping to have mine by the 27th from Rocklin, but the car hasn't shipped yet.

Just another data point to add confusion, I signed my PA last week, but my DA told me today that the car is still in production. I've had a VIN for almost two weeks now. He has several clients in the same boat and is trying to get the factory to push out cars with signed PA's. He can't tell...

I hope Joey takes over for my DA too since my car is supposed to go to Rocklin soon. My guy is nice, but hard to get ahold of. I don’t envy them, they probably have their hands full right about now!

I still haven't heard from my DA since VIN assignment, so I'm not sure what my car's actual status is. He's supposed to give me an update today or tomorrow. At least...

Rocklin. I’m only a few miles from the service center, so they’ll PDI it there and then just drive it to my house.

I just got a call from my DA. The car is in general assembly now and he expects home delivery (CA) sometime in the last 2 weeks of December. VIN assigned on Dec 9th (already on the tracker), Red/Tahoe. Excitement intensifies. 😎

VIN assigned Dec 9th. No notification from Lucid or DA, but I logged on and found the updated dashboard. This group is awesome! Loaded ZR/Tahoe.

I’ll be upset and disappointed if I miss out on the tax credit, but if I’m spending 6 figures on a car it’s going to be exactly how I want it. For me, it’s not an investment, it’ll be my daily driver and I want to love every aspect of it. I can only afford one so I’m making it count.

Thanks! Yes, I’m in the Sacramento area a few miles from one of their new service centers. It’ll likely be taken there for the final inspection and then driven to my house. That would work very well, obviously, but I also offered to pick it up in the Bay Area if it would be faster.
