I don't know if this would address your issue, but I've had a few instances where I pull on the outside door handle and it won't open. If I go to the inside door handle, I can manually slide it all the way back until it physically unlatches the door, and after doing that it works fine again.

I've used those guys several times in the past (pre-Lucid days) and they did a great job while I watched.
