"Out of Spec Dave" at the New York Auto Show

When I went to see the gravity while it was on display at the Scottsdale studio, the sales associate told me the second one was being used to setup the production line or something like that. I assume that is the reason the green one has been MIA since the LA auto show

Speculation EV companies giving access to free ICE rentals for long distance

Exactly, I planned out our entire trip (Phoenix to Tulsa and Back) on Plugshare with alternates before we left the house.

Speculation EV companies giving access to free ICE rentals for long distance

We took a trip from Phoenix, AZ to Tulsa OK in our Taycan and did not have issues. It can be done.

EA on Hayden is open - Az

The one on Bell Road is close to 51. Not a lot of travelers take 51 though so it is mostly local. We use it mostly when we go to Fry's for grocery shopping.

Price war continues, Model-S just dropped 10k

With these price cuts, It seems Gravity should have an entry trim of around 75K. It should drive more sales with the tax credit (under 80K SUV) and provide a better range than competitors

Not lucid but I noticed the same thing with the Taycan. I switched to charging during nighttime and lowered the charging speed to 4.5KW instead of 9KW. It seems to help.

    Light colored headliner for Pure

I assume it's a supply chain issue. They are probably having a problem getting the lighter color fabric for the headliner so they just made what they have standard.

It is standard now. My order was updated and removed the cost for Alcantara.

    Gravity Launch

oh wow, it's bigger than I thought it would be based on other angles. Also, do the wheels look a bit small for the size of the vehicle?

Phoenix to San Diego July 4?

I did this trip in a Taycan and had no issues. There are plenty of EA stations on the route now and I was able to skip some in a Taycan. You have more range in the Lucid so I would not worry. As @Bobby mentioned EA is not the only network, you can use other stations as well if needed.

    Gravity Testing!

I think this picture is with the suspension lowered. I wonder if it will look more like an SUV if it's raised 🤔

Generate Buzz for Lucid Air/Lucid Motors

I'm not in the DMV anymore but surprised to see more Lucids in Phoenix than in the DMV when I visit given the amount of money in the area. For those not from the area DMV = DC, Maryland, and Virginia

My DA said Lucid pushed back Pure production plans to 2023 Q3. With this, when do you expect to receive your vehicle?

If it's without SSP, that's probably why it's pushed out to Q3. Right now I believe it's still fully loaded AWD Pures

My DA said Lucid pushed back Pure production plans to 2023 Q3. With this, when do you expect to receive your vehicle?

The production of the RWD version of Pures is in Q3. AWD versions are currently being produced. I just talked to my DA and he said there are AWD Pures waiting for delivery at the service/delivery center.

Ordering and Delivery: Lucid Air Pure

Agree, I like to see and/or drive an RWD before I finalize the purchase if possible. I'm in the same boat, I prefer to wait and get the configuration I prefer. I do think they are just trying to figure out the configurations down the pipeline for planning but they are also definitely trying to...

    Pure Standard Equipment

I wonder if they removed any battery cells or just software limiting the range 🤔
