I'm on east coast as well, in WV. I travel a lot and generally plan for 80% of whatever range says and try to stop and charge with 100 +/- miles remaining. Some areas like SC don't have a lot of charging. Once you get that under control, trips are just a function of some planning.

Halodde, I had same experience, but never saw it hit CC as an "approval"; and not charge resulted. When I called Lucid they could only confirm my end of free charging date which is April 18. I originally thought that showing a charge for charging when it's free was just to eliminate charging...

Wild Ride, never got a bill, called in and the confirmed its NC until 3 years up (April 2025 for me). My guess is that EA did this so others charging next to you didn't get jealous about free charging when you are charging beside them :)

Since you're a more experienced user ( i got my GT in April of 2022. I thought that we got initially 3 years free EA charging. Travelled yesterday in NC and both times EA charged me. Am I wrong?

I had two bubble tires on my GT, 21's, pot hole on interstate in front of bridge transition. Tire company replaced both NC.

hey there, I had two bubble tires. Pirelli replaced both no charge. Mine occurred when I was going up interstate and came across a medium pot hole in front of a bridge transition (metal strip). I have 21s as well.

20s are nice, but drops your range to 469, not 500+; plus low profile so be careful of potholes or bridge edges on interstate. I've lost a rim to both.

Welcome to the GT world for EV. If you're lucky enough to have Sheetz in your region, they have lots of EA stations for road trip planning. We love our GT for regional road trips to Pitt, Philly Baltimore, etc. Planning the trip is the key.

Mine was done a month ago, it went in for recall and they said battery too, now I have whole new battery system. Richmond shop had it done in a week, They picked it up and brought it back no problem. I'm in WV, so not close to much. No problems prior and none since.

great report, I'm in road trip mode as well. only problem I had was Sheetz/EE in PA was shut down but not noted on EE website. ugh.

Thanks for the info. They just replaced my whole battery with the recall on the motor connection. I'm gonna look for some 19 rims. We live in WV and travel north a lot

Typo, we generally went 200-230 miles to a full recharge place (EE/Sheetz) and then on from there, trying not to go below 100 remaining miles.
