This is supposedly being addressed with a bigger compressor in the 2026 models. I agree the current AC can’t keep up in very hot climates.

I forget…which wall charger are you on? I’m on Tesla gen 3. If I stop and then plug in it goes full 11.5 for me for a little again but then throttles (I believe due to heat).

Unless it can be traced to that prior update, I am chalking this up to warmer weather down here. I never had the issue on my Tesla though. Even a pretty significant dehumidifier, while making my garage much more pleasant overall, didn’t solve this. I did try putting the amps down to 32 under...

Yeah, I think my in-laws had that. They were one of the first owners down here of a model X in 2016 and they had a gen 2 to wall charger installed and I believe it was 80 A both charger and car.

So after the logo reset last night before bed I woke up to the update finally pushed to the car. Seems like a randomly and coincidentally timed “freeze” on the car side of things that the reset cured.
